What does this automation do?
A new client project has an agent write the specifics, then the template document is filled in and saved ready to send.
What can you do with it?
- Stop rewriting the same proposal for every client
- Keep the wording specific to this engagement, not generic
- Have the document ready before the kickoff call
The Steps
This automation runs in 3 steps:
- When Taskade — Project Created
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Proposal Writer")
- Then Google Docs — Edit template file
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Proposal Writer" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your services, pricing and the way your proposals are structured, remembers which proposals were signed and which were renegotiated, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for client services teams sending the same document with different details. A new client project has an agent write the specifics, then the template document is filled in and saved ready to send.
How do you set it up?
- Open the "Automations" tab in your workspace.
- Click ➕ Add automation, then start from scratch.
