What does this Asana automation do?
AI classifies each new Asana task and files the important ones as Taskade work.
What can you do with it?
- Separate noise from real work automatically
- Keep the classification visible
- Stop manual first-pass triage
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Asana — New Task
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Priority Desk")
- Then Filter — continue only when the agent marked the task important
- Then Taskade — Add Task
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Priority Desk" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your priority rules and the team behind each area, remembers which tasks turned out to be urgent, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by your other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for teams with a busy intake project. AI classifies each new Asana task and files the important ones as Taskade work.
