What does this automation do?
A completed checkout runs one onboarding command, which builds the client project from your template and starts the follow-up automation itself.
What can you do with it?
- Kick off onboarding the second the payment clears
- Build from your template so nothing is invented per client
- Let the agent call your other automations rather than chaining by hand
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Stripe — Checkout Completed
- Then Taskade AI — Run Agent Command ("Onboarding Captain")
- Then Taskade — Create Project From Template
- Then Taskade — Run Automation
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Onboarding Captain" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your onboarding steps, templates and welcome material, remembers every client it has onboarded, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for service businesses onboarding every new customer the same way. A completed checkout runs one onboarding command, which builds the client project from your template and starts the follow-up automation itself.
