🎁 Run a Referral Programme

Turn the app you built for yourself into something other people pay to use. These prompts add the parts that make a tool into a product: customer sign-in, plans and trials, limits that mean something, a billing lifecycle that handles the awkward cases, and an admin view so you can see who is actually using it. The unglamorous half nobody enjoys assembling.

My best customers recommend me and I have no way to thank them. Build me a referral app. Give every account a unique referral link visible inside their account area. When someone signs up through that link, record the referral with the referrer, the new account and the date. Set the reward condition myself, such as the referred account becoming a paying customer and staying for a period, rather than paying on sign-up. Hold rewards as records with a status of Pending, Qualified, Paid or Rejected, and the reward type such as account credit or a payment. Show each customer their own referrals and rewards. Add an AI agent that identifies my most effective advocates, drafts a personal thank you, and quietly flags any pattern that looks like self-referral without accusing anyone. Automate three things: notify a referrer when their referral qualifies, credit qualified rewards on a scheduled run, and a monthly report to me on referral volume and the quality of referred customers compared with other sources. Two logins: a customer who sees only their own referrals, and an owner who approves and pays rewards.

Run a Referral Programme

Give every customer a referral link, attribute sign-ups through to paid, and pay rewards on a condition you define.

// the spark catches · intelligence awakens · the answer unfolds

Referred customers convert better and stay longer than almost any other source. This gives every customer a link and handles the reward without you tracking it in a spreadsheet.

What's Included

  • A unique link per customer they can share anywhere.
  • Referrals attributed automatically through to a paying account.
  • Rewards paid on a condition you set not on sign-up alone.
  • An assistant that spots your best advocates.

How To Use

  1. Reward on a customer who pays and stays, not on a sign-up.
  2. Make the link easy to find. Most referral programmes fail on visibility.
  3. Reward both sides. One-sided programmes are shared far less.
  4. Watch for abuse quietly, but assume good faith first.

Compare the source quality in attribution, and thank advocates through CRM prompts.
