🔑 Add Customer Sign-In to Your App

Turn the app you built for yourself into something other people pay to use. These prompts add the parts that make a tool into a product: customer sign-in, plans and trials, limits that mean something, a billing lifecycle that handles the awkward cases, and an admin view so you can see who is actually using it. The unglamorous half nobody enjoys assembling.

Add Customer Sign-In to Your App

People keep asking to use the app I built for myself. Build me customer sign-in for it. Let someone create an account with their email, sign in, and manage their own profile and password. Every record in the app that belongs to a customer must carry the owner, and the app must show a signed-in customer only their own records. Set this up explicitly rather than assuming it happens by itself, and give me a way to test it by signing in as a second account and confirming I cannot see the first account's data. Add an admin area where I can see all accounts, when they last signed in, and how much they are using. Add an AI agent inside the customer area that answers questions using only that customer's own records, and hands anything else to me. Automate two things: a welcome message when an account is created, and a scheduled weekly summary to me of new sign-ups and accounts that have gone quiet. Two logins: a customer who sees only their own data, and an owner who sees everything.

Add Customer Sign-In to Your App

Add account creation and sign-in to your app, then match each customer to their own records and test it properly.

// the spark catches · intelligence awakens · the answer unfolds

Sign-in is the line between a tool you use and a product other people use. It confirms who someone is. Which records they see is a separate step you configure, and it is the step people skip.

What's Included

  • Account creation and sign-in available on every plan, Free included.
  • Records matched to the signed-in customer which is the part you configure.
  • A profile they can manage so support stops handling it.
  • An assistant that answers questions from that customer's own records only.

How To Use

  1. Set up sign-in first, then configure which records each account can see.
  2. Test with a second account before you launch. Every time, without exception.
  3. Give people a way to update their own details or you become the help desk.
  4. Add your own domain on Pro plans and above, at $10 per month billed annually.
