Agent Team Roles & Keep Automations Going

Give Each Agent on a Team a Role

Each member of an agent team can now have a role, such as Researcher or Fact checker. The team manager reads the role to pick who does each step. See AI Teams to build a team.

• Edit a team, then click Add role under the name of a member
• Ask Taskade EVE to rename a team, change its instructions, add or remove a member, or set a role

Keep an Automation Going When a Step Fails

Continue if this step fails now lets you pick what happens next. See Loop for how it works inside a loop.

• Stop here ends the run at that step, and the run is not marked failed. In a loop, the automation moves to the next item
• Go to the next step runs the rest of the automation. The next step reads the results of the failed step as empty
• The failed step still shows in Runs, so you can see what went wrong

Taskade EVE Checks Its Work

Taskade EVE now checks that your app, projects, agents, and automations link to each other correctly before it tells you that a build is done.

• When Taskade EVE tests a public agent, it now asks as a visitor does. It no longer tells you that the agent knows things that visitors cannot see
• After Taskade EVE sums up a long chat, it still knows your projects, agents, automations, and the work that is still open

Security Fixes

• A copied App Kit no longer includes the build notes that Taskade EVE kept for the creator of the kit
• A published app no longer gives its visitors access to the build notes that Taskade EVE keeps in your workspace

Fixes

• Images and files in a copied App Kit now point to your own copy
• An hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly schedule can now start up to 30 minutes after the time you set. This spread keeps busy hours fast for every automation
• A date format on the start time of a Schedule trigger now shows the formatted time, not raw text
