Intelligence Score
Definition: The Intelligence Score (also called IQ Score) is a 0-100 metric that measures how fully your workspace leverages the Three Pillars of Workspace DNA. It quantifies the health and capability of your digital organism across four scoring dimensions.
How the Score Works
Your Intelligence Score is calculated from four dimensions, each contributing a capped number of points to a maximum total of 100:
| Dimension | Points Per Item | Maximum Points | What It Measures |
|---|---|---|---|
| Projects | 2 pts each | 20 pts (10 projects) | Memory depth - your workspace's knowledge base |
| AI Agents | 10 pts each | 30 pts (3 agents) | Intelligence breadth - your thinking capacity |
| Automations (Flows) | 5 pts each | 30 pts (6 flows) | Execution power - your action capacity |
| Integrations | Reserved | 20 pts | Connection reach - your ecosystem breadth |
Total: 0-100 points
Understanding Your Score
0-20: Seed Stage
Your workspace is just getting started. You have basic projects but haven't activated the intelligence and execution pillars yet.
21-50: Growth Stage
You're building momentum. Projects store knowledge, and you've started using agents or automations. The DNA strands are beginning to interweave.
51-80: Maturity Stage
Your workspace is becoming a living organism. Multiple agents collaborate, automations handle routine work, and projects form an interconnected knowledge network.
81-100: Emergence Stage
Full digital organism. All three pillars are active and reinforcing each other. Emergent capabilities appear - your workspace anticipates needs, optimizes itself, and compounds intelligence with every interaction.
Improving Your Score
Quickest Wins:
- Create 3 AI agents (+30 pts) - one for each core business function
- Set up 6 automation flows (+30 pts) - start with notification and data sync workflows
- Organize 10 projects (+20 pts) - structure your key business areas
Strategic Approach:
- Start with Memory: Create projects that capture your core business knowledge
- Add Intelligence: Train agents on your project data so they understand your context
- Enable Execution: Build automations that connect agents to real business events
- Connect the Ecosystem: Integrate external tools to expand your workspace's reach
Score and the Three Pillars
The Intelligence Score directly maps to the Three Pillars architecture:
Memory Pillar (Projects - 20 pts): More projects mean deeper organizational memory for your workspace to draw from.
Intelligence Pillar (Agents - 30 pts): More agents mean broader thinking capacity and specialized expertise across domains.
Execution Pillar (Automations - 30 pts): More flows mean faster, more reliable action on events and triggers across your business.
Integration Layer (20 pts): Connections to external tools expand the surface area of your workspace's nervous system.
Why the Score Matters
The Intelligence Score isn't just a number - it's a diagnostic tool:
Low Project Score? Your workspace lacks memory. Agents cannot reference data that does not exist.
Low Agent Score? Your workspace can't think. Data sits unused without intelligence to process it.
Low Automation Score? Your workspace can't act. Insights go nowhere without execution pathways.
Low Integration Score? Your workspace is isolated. It can't sense or respond to the outside world.
A balanced score across all four dimensions creates the compound effect that makes Living DNA powerful.
