📚 Turn Scores Into Grades

My students constantly ask what grade they are on and what they need to pass. Build me a grade calculator. Keep the course structure as records: each component with its name, its weighting as a percentage and its maximum mark, and refuse to publish if the weightings do not total one hundred. Let marks be entered per student per component. Show each student a running weighted grade based on what has been marked so far, the grade band it falls in, and what overall grade is still mathematically achievable. Add a target mode where a student enters the grade they want and it tells them the mark needed on each remaining component. Add an AI agent that explains a student position encouragingly and names the single component that would most improve their grade. Automate a scheduled weekly update to each student with their current position, and an alert to me when a student drops below a threshold. Two logins: a student who sees only their own marks, tested with a second account, and a teacher who sees the class.
