Build an AI App With Agents and Automations

Updated 2026-10-19·5 min read

Overview

Taskade Genesis turns one plain-language prompt into a live app with stored data, AI agents, and automations. This guide follows a full build from the first prompt to a published link that you can measure.

TL;DR: Describe what the app is for and answer the two questions that Taskade EVE asks. Taskade Genesis then builds the projects, agents, media, and automations behind a working interface. Click any element to change it, publish a private link to test, and watch visits in App Analytics. Start a build.

Taskade Genesis turns one prompt into a live AI app with projects, agents, and automations. This video edits, publishes, and measures the app start to finish. The examples include a finance tracker that stores transactions and keeps live totals, and a job application tracker. The video has on-screen text and no narration. Each chapter ends with a short rule, such as "Answering beats writing a perfect prompt."

Key steps

  1. Write what the app is for, not a list of what to build.
  2. Answer the two questions that Taskade EVE asks before it builds.
  3. Open the tabs to see what it built: projects, agents, media, and automations. Your data lives in projects that you can edit.
  4. Click the element you want to change and say what it must be instead.
  5. Ask for the images the app needs inside the build, so you do not leave the tab.
  6. Click Publish to get a live link. You do not buy hosting or run a deploy step.
  7. Keep the app private while you test. Set App Visibility, turn on Require Password, and share the link with two people.
  8. Open App Analytics to see who opened the app.
  9. Build a second app. It starts from the same workspace, so Workspace DNA already holds your context.

The video shows the visibility options as Private (Workspace Only), Private (Unlisted), and Public (Discoverable). The current labels are Private, Secret, and Public. The Free plan includes 3 Taskade Genesis apps. Require Password needs the Pro plan or above, and App Analytics needs the Business plan or above.

The short cut: agents and automations from one prompt.

Inside the video: Build an AI App With Agents + Automations From One Prompt

Taskade turns a static plan into a running system in this short cut. It generates automations, an AI agent team, a subspace of projects, and a branded app. The video generates a payment workflow that starts from a webhook and creates a Stripe customer and checkout session. It also builds an agent team that answers a lead form and chats with the AI Project Manager inside a project. It closes on the generator flow, where projects become the data, agents become the logic, and automations carry out the work.

Key steps

  1. Describe a workflow in one prompt to generate the automation.
  2. Generate an AI agent team and connect it to a form. In the video, a lead collection form asks the agent team, and the automation sends an email.
  3. Generate a subspace to get the structured projects that hold the app data.
  4. Chat with the AI Project Manager in a project to organize tasks, set due dates, and assign work.
  5. Publish the app with your theme and a custom domain.

A custom domain needs the Pro plan or above. Stripe and Gmail are premium integrations, so they run on paid plans.
