A Typeform to Notion automation turns each new form response into a page in a Notion database. In this Taskade flow, Taskade AI reads the answers and writes a two or three line summary at the top of the page, and the full answers sit below it, so the database reads at a glance.
What does the Typeform to Notion automation do?
The Typeform to Notion automation creates a Notion database page for every Typeform response. Taskade AI writes a short summary at the top of the page and keeps the full answers below it, so you can scan intake, feedback, or applications without opening each one.
How does the flow work?
- Trigger: Typeform, New Submission. You pick the form. Each new response starts a run.
- Step: Taskade AI, Summarize with AI. The AI reads all the answers and writes a two or three line summary.
- Step: Notion, Create Page. A new page goes into the database you pick, with a title, the summary, and the answers as the page content.
What lands in Notion?
| Field | Where it comes from | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Title | A form answer you choose, such as the name or company | "Acme: website redesign request" |
| Summary | Taskade AI, from all the answers | "Needs a new site by March. Budget set. Wants a call." |
| Answers | Every question and answer from the response | Full text, in form order |
Which plan do you need?
The Typeform and Notion steps need a paid Taskade plan. Pro is $10/mo billed annually. Free covers RSS, schedule and Taskade-only automations within its monthly run limit. The AI summary step uses AI credits. On Free, you earn free AI credits with referrals and invites, and you can upgrade any time.
When is another tool the better fit?
Typeform also has its own Notion integration. The two options put the answers in different places, so pick by how you read the database.
| Typeform's Notion integration | This Taskade flow | |
|---|---|---|
| Where answers go | One database column for each question | The page body, under an AI summary |
| Page title | Mapped from a question | An answer you pick |
| Summary | None | Two or three lines from Taskade AI |
| Database type | Table databases only, per the Typeform help center | The database you share with the Taskade connection |
| Next steps | None | Add a filter, a Slack message, or a Taskade task |
If you only need the fields copied, Typeform's own Notion connection on a paid Typeform plan does a direct copy. Use this flow when you want a summary on every page, so the database reads at a glance.
How do you set it up?
Step 1: Connect Typeform
Click Build Workflow and pick the form that collects the responses.
Step 2: Connect Notion
Share the target database with the Taskade connection and select it in the Create Page step.
Step 3: Map the title and the summary
Choose the answer that becomes the page title, and tell the AI step what the summary must say.
Step 4: Test and turn it on
Submit one test response, open the new Notion page, then turn the automation on.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a paid Typeform plan?
No. The flow reads new responses through the Typeform connection. A paid Typeform plan is only needed for Typeform's own Notion sync.
Can the AI skip spam responses?
Yes. Add a filter or a categorize step before Create Page, so responses the AI marks as spam stop there.
Can I send the same response to another tool?
Yes. Add more steps after Create Page, for example a Slack message or a Taskade task for the person who follows up.
Does each answer get its own Notion column?
No. The Create Page step fills the page title and the page content. The summary and the answers go in the page body. If you need one column for each question, use Typeform's own Notion sync.
Why does my Notion database not show in the list?
Notion shows only the pages and databases you share with a connection. Share the target database with the Taskade connection, then pick it again in the Create Page step.
Does the AI summary use credits?
Yes. Each summary uses AI credits. On Free, you earn free AI credits with referrals and invites, and you can upgrade any time.
