What does this automation do?
Once a week the backlog is searched and each untriaged issue is handled on its own terms, updated, and the sweep is emailed to the team.
What can you do with it?
- Triage issue by issue instead of scrolling the whole backlog
- Apply the same priority reasoning across every issue
- End the week knowing what is actually unassessed
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Schedule — Every Week
- Then Linear — Search Issues
- Then Loop over each untriaged issue — Ask Agent, Update Issue
- Then Taskade — Send Email
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Triage Lead" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your priority scale, your teams and your current cycle goals, remembers how it prioritized similar issues in earlier sweeps, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for teams whose untriaged column only grows. Once a week the backlog is searched and each untriaged issue is handled on its own terms, updated, and the sweep is emailed to the team.
