Decide Who Can Use Your App
A Who can use this app? picker in your app's settings now sets who can open your Taskade Genesis app, in one place.
- Pick Anyone, Anyone with an account, or Only people I add
- Give each person in App Users an Admin or Member role. A new person starts as a Member
- Ask Taskade EVE for an admin-only page, and it builds the page on that role
Smarter Automation Steps
Your Taskade automation steps now handle date ranges, single teammates, and longer repeat cycles.
- Add an End Date when you add a task or set a due date, and the task spans a date range
- Pick an Assignee on the task-assigned trigger, and it runs for that teammate only
- Use Repeat on the weekly schedule to run every 2, 3, or 4 weeks
- Turn on Continue if this step fails for a step inside a Loop, and one bad item no longer stops the rest
- The webhook trigger now accepts plain HTML form posts
A Faster Start
Signing up and building your first app now takes fewer steps.
- Signed-out visitors on the Taskade home and generator pages can sign in with Google One Tap
- After you type an app idea and go to sign-up, the page says Your app idea is saved, and the idea becomes your first prompt
- On your phone, the bottom bar shows See what to try first. after your first build
Fixes
- A link to change your email address now expires after 24 hours
- App Kit exports now leave out Google and SendGrid keys that you typed into an automation step
- Comments on a task now come back when you undo the change that removed the task
- Saving your app settings no longer undoes a newer change to the same app
- Signed-out visitors of an app with sign-in now see the sign-in button, not an error, after your next publish
