What does this automation do?
A customer email is read by an agent that tracks your recurring themes, and the ones worth acting on become Linear issues in the customer’s own words.
What can you do with it?
- Get the feedback onto the backlog while it is still specific
- Keep the customer’s wording attached to the issue
- Notice the theme that has now come up five times
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Gmail — New Email
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Feedback Reader")
- Then Filter — continue only when the agent judged the feedback worth acting on
- Then Linear — Create Issue
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Feedback Reader" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your product areas and the themes you already track, remembers the themes it has named and how often each recurs, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for product teams who hear feedback but never file it. A customer email is read by an agent that tracks your recurring themes, and the ones worth acting on become Linear issues in the customer’s own words.
