I only reorder when I notice a gap on the shelf, which is always too late. Build me a purchase ordering app. Keep a suppliers project with contact details, typical lead time in days, minimum order value and payment terms. On each product, hold the supplier, the cost price, the reorder point and the reorder quantity. Every day, check stock against the reorder point taking the supplier lead time and recent sales rate into account, and build a suggested order per supplier that I can review, edit and approve rather than having it sent automatically. A purchase order records what was ordered, the expected delivery date, and what actually arrived, so short deliveries are visible. Add an AI agent that drafts each order, explains why each line is on it, and warns me when a supplier has been consistently later than their stated lead time. Automate the daily reorder check and a scheduled alert for any delivery now past its expected date. Two logins: a manager who approves orders, and staff who can receive deliveries against them.
