🤝 Run a Referral Network for New Business

Run a book of business without letting a renewal slip. These prompts build what an agent or broker actually needs: every policy with its renewal date, commission you can check, claims tracked from notification to settlement, and a client portal that answers the routine questions. The renewal date does the work, because it is a reminder that repeats every year on its own.

Most of my new business comes from a handful of accountants and solicitors and I never track it properly. Build me a referral app. Keep referral sources with their name, firm, profession, relationship owner and any agreed arrangement. Record every introduction with the source, the prospect, the date and what was being sought, then follow it through to whether it became a client and what premium it produced. Report per source: introductions made, conversion rate, total premium written and total commission earned. Also record introductions I have sent back to them, so I can see whether the relationship is two-way. Add an AI agent that reviews the network and tells me which sources are producing well, which have gone quiet compared with their own history, and which I owe a reciprocal introduction to, and drafts a thank you or a check-in message. Automate two things: an immediate notification to me when an introduction converts so I can thank the source promptly, and a scheduled quarterly report on network performance. Two logins: an agent who logs and works introductions, and an owner who sees the whole network.

Run a Referral Network for New Business

Track professional introductions through to bound premium, monitor reciprocity, and flag relationships going quiet.

// the spark catches · intelligence awakens · the answer unfolds

Most agencies grow on introductions and almost none track them. This records who sent whom, what it turned into, and which relationships deserve your time.

What's Included

  • Every introduction recorded with who made it.
  • Followed through to premium not just to an enquiry.
  • Reciprocity visible so the relationship stays two-way.
  • An assistant that flags a source going quiet.

How To Use

  1. Record the introduction the day it happens, not at year end.
  2. Measure through to bound premium, not to enquiries received.
  3. Thank people specifically and quickly. It is why the next one comes.
  4. Track what you send back. One-sided relationships fade.

Work the enquiries with CRM prompts, and convert them through the intake app.
