🗑️ Track Wastage and Short-Dated Stock

We throw a lot away and nobody records it, so I cannot tell waste from theft. Build me a wastage app. Let staff log an item as wasted with the product, quantity, date, location and a reason from a short list such as out of date, damaged, spoiled, preparation waste or customer return, and calculate the cost at cost price automatically. For products with a shelf life, hold a use-by date on the stock received so the app can show me each morning what is short-dated and still sellable, with a suggested markdown, before it becomes waste. Report waste in money and as a percentage of sales by product, category, reason and location. Add an AI agent that reviews waste patterns and tells me which products are repeatedly wasted because we simply order too much, and what a better order quantity would be. Automate a scheduled daily short-dated list at opening and a monthly waste report. Two logins: staff who log waste from a phone, and an owner who sees costs and the analysis.
