🚶 Turn Footfall Into a Conversion Rate

Run the shop from one place, including the second and third one. These prompts build the working parts of a retail business: stock that is right across every location, purchase orders that arrive before you run out, gift cards and loyalty, staff rotas, and the numbers you should see every morning.

Turn Footfall Into a Conversion Rate

Copy

A quiet day could be fewer people or worse selling and I cannot tell which. Build me a footfall and conversion app. Let footfall be entered or imported by hour per location, alongside the number of transactions and total takings for the same hour. Work out conversion rate, average basket and revenue per visitor, by hour, by day of week and by location. Overlay who was rostered in each period so I can see whether conversion moves with who is on. Compare against the same period last year rather than last week. Add an AI agent that reviews a month and tells me plainly which hours have the most room to improve, whether the issue in each is traffic or conversion, and what changing the staffing in those hours would plausibly be worth. Automate a scheduled weekly conversion report and an alert when a location conversion drops materially below its own recent average. Two logins: a shop manager who enters footfall and sees their own location, and an owner who compares locations.

Turn Footfall Into a Conversion Rate

Track visitors against transactions by hour to get conversion and basket, overlaid with staffing to find the weak hours.

// the spark catches · intelligence awakens · the answer unfolds

Takings alone cannot tell you whether a quiet day was fewer visitors or worse selling. Conversion separates the two, which changes what you do about it.

What's Included

  • Visitors against transactions by hour rather than by day.
  • Conversion and average basket side by side.
  • Staffing overlaid so the link becomes visible.
  • An assistant that names the hours worth staffing differently.

How To Use

  1. Record footfall by hour. A daily total hides the whole story.
  2. Look at conversion and basket together. They move independently.
  3. Overlay who was on. Selling is a skill, not just a rota slot.
  4. Act on the worst hour rather than the average.

Adjust the rota with the shift scheduler, and check it on the daily dashboard.
