Crew scheduling is a puzzle with hard constraints — skills, certifications, site locations, and travel time between them. This generator builds a crew calendar that keeps all four visible while you plan the week.
What Is a Crew Scheduling Dispatch Board?
It is a day-by-day board of crews and sites. Each crew member carries skill and certification tags, each site carries its requirements, and the calendar shows who is where. When a job needs a certified operator, filter by tag and see who qualifies and who is free.
Why Use a Crew Scheduling Dispatch Board?
Skills matched to sites: Certification tags stop the wrong crew from being sent to a job that requires credentials.
Travel accounted for: Same-day assignments across town stand out before they wreck the schedule.
Week-at-a-glance: Calendar view for planning, Board view for the daily run-down — same data, both views.
Handles the reshuffles: Weather delay or a call-out? Drag assignments to a new day and everyone sees the change.
Built for trades: Construction, events, and trade crews can pair this with a project plan per site.
