What does this automation do?
When a task comes due, an agent that knows your delivery commitments decides whether it moves, and emails the person who needs to know.
What can you do with it?
- Handle the slip the moment it happens, not at the weekly review
- Judge the escalation against commitments, not against a flat rule
- Move the work into the right section so the board stays honest
The Steps
This automation runs in 5 steps:
- When Taskade — Task Due
- Then Taskade — Get Task
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Delivery Lead")
- Then Taskade — Move Task Within Project
- Then Taskade — Send Email
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Delivery Lead" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your delivery commitments for each client, remembers who slipped the last time this ran, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
