Require Sign-In to Use Your App

Require sign-in to use this app is a new switch in the Publish menu that lets only signed-in app users use your Taskade Genesis app.

• Visitors who are not signed in see Sign in to continue instead of your app
• The switch covers your app's data, agents, forms, and automations
• Before it turns on, Taskade checks that your app has a sign-in screen, and suggests asking Taskade EVE to add one if it does not
• Agents connected to the app answer only inside the app while the switch is on
• Only the workspace owner can change it

Choose Who Can Sign Up

The App Users tab now lets you choose who can create an account in your app.

• Pick Anyone, or Invite only to limit accounts to the people you add
• Add person creates an account and emails a link to set a password, so no password is ever sent
• Accounts that already exist keep working when you switch to invite only

Fixes

• When Taskade blocks an app version because its code holds a secret key, Taskade EVE is now told to move the key into a secret, instead of the publish failing with an unclear error
• Taskade EVE now waits for your app preview to finish loading before it checks it for errors
