Sign Up Without a Username & Settings on Any Screen
v6.260.0
Sign Up With Just an Email and a Password
Creating a Taskade account now takes only your email and a password.
- Taskade picks your username from your email, and you can change it later in Settings
- The password meter counts down to the 12-character minimum, then says "Looks good"
- Sign up with Single Sign-On now sits beside the Google and Apple options
- The first onboarding step lets you name your workspace, and skips your name when Taskade already knows it
Settings That Fit Any Screen
The settings menu now stays within reach at every window width.
- Wide windows keep the full menu beside the page, and medium windows show a compact strip of icons
- On a phone, a labeled switcher shows where you are and opens the full menu
- The project header fits a narrow panel, and its More menu holds every button that does not fit, including Project Settings
Apps That Assign Tasks and Set Due Dates
Apps you build with Taskade Genesis can now set a task's assignee and due date.
- Tasks that your app creates now show up in My Tasks and on your calendar
- Your app can assign tasks to workspace members only
- Taskade EVE now spots a name that your app's code uses but never defines, so it can fix the bug before your app crashes
Fixes
- Asking Taskade EVE to build an app from your main workspace now starts the app right away, instead of sending you back to the home screen
- Emails from Taskade now come from, and sign off as, the Taskade Team
- If copying an app fails, Taskade now archives the unfinished copy instead of leaving an empty app in your workspace
