Protect Files From the Code Tab

The Code tab in your app settings now has the same Protect from AI edits switch as the version card in the Taskade EVE chat.

• Open a file and turn protection on or off from its header
• A shield marks each protected file in the file tree

Clearer Errors When a Link Import Fails

When Taskade cannot save a file from a web link, the error now tells you what went wrong.

• The message names the step that failed: the download, the storage, or the final save
• It names the site and the error the site sent back
• For a common error, it adds a hint, for example that the site needs its own sign-in or has no file at that address

Safer Downloads From Web Links

Taskade now checks each address a web link leads to before it downloads anything.

• This covers saving a file from a web link, attaching one to a task, and adding one to agent knowledge
• If a link leads to an address that Taskade blocks, Taskade stops before it downloads any file
