Google models are not in the Taskade model picker right now. One path still runs Gemini inside Taskade: the **Google Gemini** connector step in an automation. It bills your own Google account rather than Taskade AI credits.

## What the picker offers instead

Taskade offers frontier models from top AI labs: OpenAI GPT, xAI Grok, and open-weight models such as DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi, and GLM. The picker also carries TSK-Auto and the [TSK rungs](https://www.taskade.com/docs/models#tsk-rungs). See the [full catalog](https://www.taskade.com/docs/models/custom-engine) for the current list, or leave the surface on [TSK-Auto](https://www.taskade.com/docs/models#tsk-auto) and let Taskade route each turn.

## Run Gemini in an automation

The **Google Gemini** connector runs Gemini as a step in any automation. Add the step, connect your Google AI account, and feed it a prompt from an earlier step. The connector carries three actions: **Ask Gemini**, **Extract Structured Data**, and **Ask About an Image**.

The step runs on your own key, so it draws no Taskade AI credits. Every step around it keeps working normally. See [Multi-model AI access](https://www.taskade.com/learn/genesis/ai-models) for the setup.

## How Gemini performs

We build the same apps on every family and publish what happened. See the [Gemini build results](https://www.taskade.com/tsk/gemini) for the test-by-test record.
